Type of training : Attestation of College Studies (ACS) program offered in a hybrid format by Collège d’Alma.

Target audience : This program is intended for employees who are called upon to participate in the digital shift of their company or for self-employed workers.

Content and objectives : The program provides the necessary skills to support a company or organization in this new context. It establishes resources that will facilitate the implementation of a digital culture in businesses and organizations.

Type of training : Training offered by the Centre national intégré du manufacturier intelligent (CNIMI) in collaboration with UQTR and Cégep de Drummondville.

Content and objectives : Ambition is THE 4.0 training available in 4 levels to support your employees in your technological transformation.

Certificate in industrial automation

Type of training : Certificate offered by Polytechnique Montréal.

Target audience : This program is intended for engineers, technicians and all professionals working in the electrical or industrial field who wish to specialize in automation.

Content and objectives : The certificate in industrial automation promotes the development of professional skills that provide a good understanding of the physical phenomena of systems and to keep abreast of the latest technological breakthroughs related to industrial devices, such as programmable controllers, human-machine interfaces, industrial instrumentation, etc.

CoRoM: Technologies for collaborative robotics in the manufacturing sector

Type of training : Training program offered by NSERC-FONCER (Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada). The program is offered jointly by the Université de Sherbrooke, ÉTS and Laval University.

Target audience : The program offers a specialization in collaborative robotics to master’s and doctoral students. Students graduating from the bachelor’s program can also complete research internships in the context of CoRoM.

Content and objectives : CoRoM students are called upon to integrate, in an interdisciplinary manner, engineering (mechanical, electrical, computer, industrial), business and even ethical concepts in the development, implementation and evaluation of collaborative robotics projects. They develop skills sought after by a manufacturing industry in full transformation, in the context of Industry 4.0.

Type of training : Customized training offered by Parcours Formation, services aux entreprises of the Centre de services scolaires de Saint-Hyacinthe.

Target audience : This program is aimed at a very broad clientele with a tailor-made offer.

Content and objectives : Parcours Formation works with companies to qualify their needs and evaluate the skills to develop targeted employees in order to develop a customized training plan in small groups and companies.

Leader in the digital transformation

Type of training : Continuing education offered by Laval University.

Target audience : The program is intended for workers in manufacturing companies in the Québec City region: business analyst, project manager responsible for continuous improvement, change management consultant, innovation manager.

Content and objectives : The leader in the digital transformation program is designed to train digital transformation champions. These champions are responsible for guiding senior management, organizing the process of capturing ideas, and prioritizing them with decision-makers. Then, they implement and manage digital projects. They mobilize key players and oversee their digital skills. Through the eight modules of the course, your transformation champions will develop their skills in leadership, strategy and technology. In addition to acquiring knowledge related to Industry 4.0, they will be able to develop and apply concrete solutions within your company to support the digital transformation.

Industry 4.0

Type of training : Online continuing education offered by Polytechnique Montréal. This training is also offered online in English (Industry 4.0: Concepts and Application).

Target audience : This training is intended for industrial engineers and managers working in production-related businesses.

Content and objectives : This training, which takes place over 13 weeks, one weekend per week (Tuesday* from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.), will allow participants to understand and define the tools, technologies and concepts of Industry 4.0 for the implementation of the digital transformation of companies’ business processes in the context of the 4th industrial revolution.

Content and objectives : The specific objectives of this microprogram are to help students master the concepts, approaches and certain tools for the implementation of the fourth industrial revolution.
